Hello World,
Good tidings from the land of Size2shoes. We have suceeded in keeping ourseles rather busy thankfully what with demoing tunes for our second album and a sneaky trip to san Francisco last week! Big love to Tom Bachelder and his family for making our San Francisco experience such a rapid experience
A momentous occasion indeed as this was s2s U.S west coast debut!
We are demoing tunes for our second album everybody! We are very happy with the tunes that are emerging, we hope to sneak peak a few just for you in the coming months
Moley has several rap verses on some of the tunes and Eoin has written some seriously epic tunes that rock out deep, and hard
Arrangements for the second album are being made as we speak, and things look rather promising you will be glad to hear.
Gigs coming up include recording two tracks for BBC Northern Ireland TV, so we hopefully will be posting that link of our lovely faces soon after, our BBC debut! I suppose it will be no time till it is summer time again as the Daffodil’s are fit to burst forth and all the wonders of nature will open for business, we will be ready…will you?! We played at the UCD Valentines ball a while back too, which was simply wonderful to see the best and brightest of the Ents krew in action. Word up!
We are playing at a Haiti fundraiser in The Helix on March 6th, please do come along to witness a host of celeb’s appear alongside the shoes (including Brendan Gleeson!) Book online below dahlings!

…to all the Size2 fans who came to see us open up for The Coronas (www.thecoronas.net) at the UCD Valentine’s Ball last night. We were delighted to be asked back by Ents Officer Mike Pat and all the trendy Ents Crew after doing the Freshers’ Ball last year. Believe it or not, these are the only student gigs we’ve ever done, and we loved them!!! Singing the Teddy Bears Picnic to a hall packed with dancing students is quite an experience
The Coronas were excellent too. Tight band, strong melodies, great vocals.
Now we’re packing our bags for our world tour of San Francisco. We’ll be keeping you updated with all the juicy Size2 gossip State-side, for here at S2S we believe that what goes on tour, goes on the blog!!!
Lots of community action these times too. Last week we were the proud ‘celebrity judges’ for The N-Factor: Has Newport Got Talent? And we can say with a resounding Yea! that it most certainly has. Keep an eye out for hard-house dancing diva Tamara McNamara this Saturday, or the host of excellent Irish Trad bands, or Newport’s best kept secret, the Slam-Poet Seanachaí (that’s Irish for story teller) and loads more acts. Unfortunately we’ll be doing our gig in San Fran that night
And tomorrow we’re doing back to back workshops for the kids at the Murroe4U Community Expo 2010. It’s just non-stop! How are we going to find time to finish off these demos?!?!?
Oh, we premiered a new song last night at the Ball. It’s call ‘Woke Up From A Deep Sleep’ which feature a five minute ‘rock-out’ with the whole crowd singing along… this is a good sign.
Rock On!

Hey dudes,
The brothers Size2shoes had a quality Christmas kickin Shannonside for the holidays. Eventful indeed. Eoin brought over his beautiful new girlfriend from New York for a week and, to celebrate, we had a massive house party. We have heard from reputable sources that is was indeed ‘massive’.
So happy New Year to you all and it is time to tighten our belts and again raise our post christmas double chins and greet our destiny. For size2shoes all eyes are on recording our second album, we are demoing at home at the mo with some considerable success. We think you guys are really gonna like the new album, its got some quality hooks! We may give you a sneak peak at some clips of us in the studio at home in the months to come (there is some pretty funny banter going on too, holy god!).
Size2shoes are heading to San Francisco to do a gig in February too! More about that in our next blog ![]()
Have a good one ![]()

Cool Yule Dudes,
So size2shoes rocked the Belltable Arts Centre, Limerick city few nights ago, word to all who turned out on what was a hectic night in Fab city, Christmas mania has gripped the town! Parents and children fighting over the last Dora lunch boxes and three foot long party poppers! Madness.
So size2shoes bunker down for the holiday season as there are no more gigs planned in 2009
But 2010 and its ensuing decade (‘The Teenies’) will no doubt hold much for us to write home to you about! You can guarantee there will be much more rocking out, beatboxing, vibing, rapping, shouting, and namedropping in the year to come so its good to have you on board
!
Will these two brothers from the wilds of Tipperary really make the big time? or will they fall by the way side and prove no more than a forgotten brothers band with a silly name!? This is the question on the lips of many fans and industry hacks! We are contemplating wearing capes when we perform from now on to exacerbate the epicness of our journey so far and from now on. If you are reading this you have been wonderful, we thank you and all our fans for checking us out.
This year has been the most organised size2shoes have been in terms of Christmas preparations. We think that maybe all the logistical preparation for the s2s tour during November may have improved our ability to get things done! This is beg news in the s2s camp as we without fail turn up empty handed at birthday and holiday events, though we do bring a guitar most places where there is a party! So if you have a party you want rocked, gis a call! we have been working on getting up and down chimneys for an extra special entrance!
Album sales are womping around the country, the sales have exceeded our wildest expectations and thanks to all who got in and bought our modest debut album! Let us know what your favourite track is! Take care of yourself and dont be too hard on yourself, life is too short – and your a good person!
so there,

Eoin’s blog: AAA rating

Moley went there – he actually went there with the Party Popper joke. But just to let you all know in S2S Fan-Land, Size2shoes is a fully certified Triple AAA Rated “Family Show” – or your money back! Holy God!!!
And yes, yes, I won the Live 95FM Breakfast Show Biggie. What can I say, I just got lucky. Moley always beats me in feats of vocal strength, but just like the Irish in a World Cup qualifier, it all comes down to what happens on the day – such is the travesty of any competitive scenario.
And here’s a prediction for future trends and fashions to come in the far far distant future – just imagine this: a world where competitions are as old-fashioned as handle-bar mustaches, or penny-farthing bicycles (google them if you haven’t seen one before – bizarre) The idea of a “winner” and a “loser” of a competition might start to seem as conservative and as unhelpful as “women in the kitchen” and “men out at work”.
Today I saw the first Christmas trees being sold on the side of the road – Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
