The Ark childrens gig’s with the professor and Mel went spiffingly, Size2shoes were on the arts show on radio 1 last week plugging the gig and there was a TG4 camera crew at the ark to film the gig and they took footage of Size2shoes singing a song called ‘Breathless’, which is a really funky one Eoin wrote, which will be on our next album after the one which is about to be released!

Just went swimming in UL in the 50 metre pool!flappin around like a big duck…

Doing a gig in the new Belltable, the red cross hall beside Tom Collins’s bar in Limerick city, on Sunday night! Appearing with David Hope, Windings and one other band whom i cant remember the name:)
All acoustic, no amps, bring your own drinks policy in this venue too! Asking for it…:)

Hope you are all good.
Make room for your turkey!

Size2shoes Blog: Bloggymaloe

Hey peeps,

Had a pretty cheesy weekend down in East Cork at Ballymaloe house. Size2 were rocking out in the second half of one of the professors (our dad’s) gigs which was to officially open a great new theatre that they have opened there called The Grain Store.

Met a great guitar player called Fankie Lane, a real ninja, and we all rocked out on the tune ‘Ghost Riders in the sky’ as the last tune to a capacity 350 people! I know, you had to be there!

Size2shoes are playing in the Ark childrens theatre, again alongside the nutty professor & Mel Mercier next weekend, two matinee shows on saturday and another 2 on Sunday, if your around Dublin this weekend these are really great afternoon gigs to check out. The website is ark.ie/programme/event001.html

Dont know how much the tickets are but they wont be expensive.

We got the cover designed for the album…it looks Wacky and good, which is what we wanted, we didnt want to put our norries on the front of the album like, so we got this cool photo of these baby shoes..which are ridiculously cute!

Hope your weekend was good!

Chilled with the Madso this weekend, Eoin is training for his triathlon, Moley and Eoin wrote a song for a certain philanthropist in a country & western style….

Madso said the Cobalt cafe gig a couple of weeks was the best thing hed ever seen and that we stepped it up a gear.  Good man Madso, we will keep him around!

We love sycophants here at size2shoes as we try to straddle the global music market in our quest for high sales in many territories.

We are having a lads night in in our gaf in Newport, Co. Tipperary.
Why dont you send us something surprising and interesting in the post?

Anything will do, we will report what we recieve:)

All senders of any kind will recieve free entry to any gig they wish that is posted on the website in future!

Hope your weekend was cool.

Love from Limerick.

Moley’s Blog: Tell me I’m the only one Barry

Well lads, hows it going?

Me and Eoin were in Kiev, Ukraine, for the last week, back into the swing of things now. Had an amazing time in Kiev singing with Noirin and had a great gig last wednesday.

You may have seen the article in last Sunday’s Sindo after our Size2shoes gig in the Cobalt Cafe, which also went down real well. The review said that Size2shoes is kinda like Steely Dan (So fine…so young…tell me im the only one Barry…) or that me and Eoin are like a modern day keith richards and mick Jagger except without the drugs! I have often marvelled at the on stage chemistry of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards as they jiggle their wrinkly bits around the stadia of the world…so fine…not so young…

A good review all the same, Julie Feeney sang with us at the same gig, she is some cool dude,we did a great song together, a little scots gallic number, really enjoyed hangin out with her, met lots of interesting people at the Cobalt cafe for Dr. Paul Burkes going away do, we will miss you!

Next Size2shoes gig is December 7th in the Belltable arts centre, Luimneach.
Fully acoustic show, no mics or amps in a tiny little venue downstairs, will be magic!
How are you?
Your looking well:)
Moley
